nido: shelter project

I worked on this project during my exchange at Wilson School of Design in Vancouver, Canada in early 2019. Since Vancouver has a high rate of homeless people, this project consisted in designing a shelter for one of them. The particularity was that it had to be in a shipping container so the dimensions were very limited. This temporary housing was proposed as a transitional help space for homeless people to reincorporate into society. Providing these people the opportunity to grow individually in a community environment, working according to their will and also offering them the independence they need.
